Wir nutzen die Pause, um mal ein paar der letzten Meldungen von Oscilloscope zu verbreiten. For Love of of Water (FLOW) wird ab Dienstag käuflich als DVD zu erwerben sein, sowohl im Oscilloscope-Store, als auch bei amazon.com. Desweiteren vertreibt Oscilloscope ein paar weitere Filme:

• DEAR ZACHARY: a letter to a son about his father, a uniquely intense and personal documentary about the murder of Kurt’s oldest friend and the unbelievable legal and emotional madness that ensued.

Die DVD von Gunnin’ for That #1 Spot ist inzwischen draussen und auch bei Amazon Deutschland als UK-Import zu haben (für einen respektablen Preis). Die Bluray erscheint in diesen Tagen und soll laut Home Media Magazine vier vorher unveröffentlichte Instrumentalsongs der Beastie Boys enthalten.

Keine Ahnung, ob das bei der DVD genauso ist (besitzt die schon irgend jemand und kann dazu ‘ne Aussage machen?).

Der ursprünglich geplante Release-Termin für die Bluray ist verschoben vom 18.11. auf den 25.11. (laut Amazon US) oder den 02.12.2008 (laut HMM).

Ich warte dann schonmal auf das Vinyl-Bootleg-Release der vier Songs :)

PS: die 4 Songs “LTD”, “Beasley Is A Beast”, “The Panda Rat” und “Politickin’” gibt es inzwischen bei Amazon.com als Exklusiv-Download, anscheinend leider nur für den amerikanischen Markt.

Die DVD von Gunnin’ for That #1 Spot wird im Oktober veröffentlicht und ist ab 21.10.2008 dann bei Amazon/US zu haben. Die Blu-Ray-Disk wird dort am 18.11.2008 nachgeschoben. Bei Amazon/UK gibt es auch schon den Eintrag für die Blu-Ray, aber noch kein exaktes Verkaufsdatum.

Die Features sind momentan auch noch nicht ganz klar, keine Ahnung, ob da auch der Soundtrack direkt dabei ist oder nicht (wohl eher nicht). Eine Info über eine direkte Europa-Veröffentlichung gibt es gerade auch nicht.

Adam Yauch sitzt in der Jury beim diesjährigen Raindance Film Festival. Auch sein Film Gunnin’ For That #1 Spot wird am 4. Oktober 2008 in London gezeigt. Vielleicht gibt es ja noch ein paar mehr Termine hier im Kalender von MCA, wenn er schonmal in Europa ist.
